Guitar Hero/Rock Star...the music rhythm games - 11-27-2007, 08:09 AM

So I am thinking about getting Guitar Hero III as it has a lot of great music, but then I saw Rock Star. I don't understand...does it come with all the equipment, or do you have to buy the drums and guitar seperately? Anyone played either?

Looking at the drum pads, they didn't look that big or strong. I may just go for G.H.III.

GHIII was on sale for like 50 bucks cheaper than Amazon, so I had to go for it (they only had one left). They had Rock Star, too (just one) but I need to hear more about that one.

I'll let you know how it goes...

I'd go for GHIII, It does have good songs on it (I own it) and you can customize the people more too.

Rock Band has been getting some pretty good reviews. However, it's a game thats really only meant to be played with a few friends - not really by yourself. If you're more of a solo gamer, pick up Guitar Hero III. If you got some buddies that can come by and form your virtual band, then get Rock Band.

I am more of a solo gamer type, and played drums for many years, so I was thinking Rock Band (I messed up on the name) might be fun for drumming...

I have been enjoying GHIII...though medium is a LOT harder than easy.

That reminds me...From what i remember, DDR was pretty crazy back when it came out in Japan, right? Well, how about Guitar Hero? It may be American, but it has the same basic idea. How is it doing over there?
