Halo 3/ PS3 question..

My PC is more powerfull than a ps3... so what? Since when does hardware decide which "gaming console" is better? if you've forgotten, its about the GAMES!!!

As for some of the stuff you said... Blu-ray and HD-DVD are IDENTICAL in quality... not that, that matters anyway because that kinda quality is hardly neccesary!!!

360s breaking down... thats stupid to say that, because its been out longer. wait a while for ps3 to have its problems... if you look at the stats of how many 360s broke down in the first couple of months, its far less than PS3. Sony fixed only 6 consoles????? so what, they've replaced 13 from the shop i used to work in... which means unfixable...

Sixaxis is stupid, its sooooo dodgy!! If i wanna wave something around, i'd rather get a Wii.


Btw, i own both consoles, and i'd choose 360 anyday over ps3.... 360 has better games and better online play. enough said!!!!

TRUE gamers love games regardless, and don't have allegiances to specific consoles.

BUT who cares about true gamers???? I love games, i worked in a games shop for years, i wouldn't call myself a true gamer and nor would i want to be one... that has nothing to do with it!!

All I meant by true gamers were the people who really enjoy playing games, rather than what specs a console has or which company makes it etc. etc.

I didn't mean the unsociable 100 hours playtime a week types

and as far as media goes, according to sonydefenseforce.com the 360 has lost many games due to small media

I never said it wasn't biased, the only time it is, is when they do game reviews, for 360 exclusives.
Well, it had links to other trust-worthy sites that have the same info..
The next GTA (after IV) will be a PS3 exclusive, rockstar is tired of working with the 360's limitations..
L.A. Noire, is impossible on the 360 according to their company, because of the lack of space on the 360 disc media..
also from Ninja Theory (makers of Heavenly Sword), they said the AUDIO from Heavenly Sword wouldn't fit on a single 360 dvd disc

Blu-Ray Disc Drive - 8x the DVD Quality than HD-DVD even scratch free - I used steal wool to see if the discs scratches and doesn’t.

Bluetooth - 2.4Ghz wireless controller range even interacts with the PSP to play games from the PSP to work with the PS3.

Cell Broadband Engine - 8 Cores, 7 SPE’s and 1 PPE each of them runs at 4Ghz.

XBOX 360 has only a tri-core, 3 cores only running at 3.2Ghz each.
XBOX 360 R600 - Its modified but the RSX is just as powerful.
PS3 - 25.5 GB of System RAM
XBOX 360 - 22 GB System RAM

as you can see the PS3 has a more powerful console or is a more powerful console than the Xbox 360.

I am a hardware Guy so I would know about this.

About the XMB menu, against the Dashboard look.

XMB menu looks better and you can do so much more than the Dashboard.

ummm, I, being a Sony fanboy, have to say that some of your facts are wrong. And for such an accuser of other peoples fanboyism, you seem to be a devout Sony fan like me. BUt, I do believe that it's okay if the Xbox wins this war. Does it really matter? Yes these companies are depending on their consoles, but as long as we have great games (no matter what console) we have something differant to entertain ourselves with. Does anybody agree?
