I'm American not Japanese and I love RPG's. I don't like shooters really because of the first person p.o.v., it screws me up. And I like RPG's because I like to have a storyline to my games not just a random game of shooting people in the head.

Meh, I like RPGs more because it incorporates fantasy (as in the magical kind, not sci-fi) into the game, making it unrealistic, and yet at the same time making it very delicious eye candy.
That doesn't mean I don't like FPSs, though; Personally, I love House of the Dead. |
I'll take RPGs over FPS games any day... I think part of the reason is that i find it much easier to operate an RPG, because in FPS you have various buttons that do all sorts of things, and one generally only needs the d-pad/analog stick and the shape buttons for RPGs (if you can't tell, I've only done RPGs on the PS systems)
That, and RPGs generally have a much better storyline, whereas with FPS people just want to go into multiplayer mode and frag the hell out of everyone. Which can be fun, admittedly, but I still will take an RPG over that |
I usually loadout with bandoleer instead of RPGs. The g36c and the M4 eat ammo.
Oh this thread isn't about Call of Duty 4.. Sorry. I actually like both RPG's and FPS. RPGs are great for when you have a whole weekend planned of gaming. FPS are great for blasting friends on-line and taking aggression out. |
I prefer RPG's as I like intense storylines and I get a tad scared with FPS's but I do like Halo 3 online :D

Because it let me be and live in something that isn't possible irl, a Black Mage in the peacefull and full of magic Windurst for example XD
