I tried and tried with squirtle and could not beat Misty. I didn't realize there were some oddish nearby, all I had to do was beat my rival and go on to Bill's house.

Sadly I kinda lost interest on Pokemon games, in my opinion they killed it with the 4th? (if is Ruby and Saphire) generation. I love my pokemon Gold and Silver though, I repeatively start over once I get tired of my lineup or simply am too powerful. I used to be one of those people who would save right before the Elite Four or some other important battle (i.e. your rival, gym leaders) and reload if I lost since I hated losing so much damn money! Anyway I became a straight player form there and until now, but I only play B/R/Y( the most lately) and G/S but my Gold is givng me problems...wont let me save after I get past the second town...grrr

I'll stick to my Y and G (can't seem to find my R...) Although I did also have Colliseum for the GCN as well as that shadow one... I can't think of the name... but I sold 'em.

If your game is about to end and you don't want that, try to raise ALL of your Pokémon to level 60. That should keep you busy for a while.

You should try Sapphire. You can jump sideways down stairs on a bicycle
