I had played Fatal Frame, Fatal Frame 2 the Crimson Butterfly and Fatal Frame 3 the Tormented a long time ago. It is one of the best third-person survival horror games published by Tecmo.

Played all of them so far, and it's not just the greatest horror series I've ever played, but they're the greatest games I've played.... EVER XD

My favourite has to be FF 2 (altough I'm from the UK too, so its PZ 2 )

The story to it is so deep! And you end up feeling sorry for every single character, even Sae the antagonist XD

I'm crap at playing horror games, but some shopping sites have got me curious as to whether Fatal Frame 4 is actually heading to Europe? Its available for pre-order from Play.com and Shopto.net which is pretty weird, since I haven't heard any confirmation of a release, but just random rumours from 2008 (a long time ago...). :S

Fatal Frame IV The Mask Of The Lunar Eclipse - Nintendo WII - ShopTo.Net

Think I may try out the Japanese version and get that translation patch you mentioned MissMisa.

Yeah, the translation patch + original Japanese copy are the only way to play it even in Europe. There was a rumour of a European release, but it never came to happen. I haven't tried FF4 yet as I dont have a Wii. :/

EDIT - I just realised you said Play.com instead of Play-Asia.com (silly me)
That is strange, but I wouldn't pay attention to it, I think with FF5 in the works they won't think about a European FF4 release now.

Oh em gee. Is this a thread about my most favorite game series ever? Yep. It is. I'm in total love with Fatal Frame. I bounce around Beyond Camera Lens looking at all the... oozing Fatal Frameness. I have the second game. Someone special has the third. It's just seriously really awesome. I think I've replayed the second game about 4 times. I know. I'll be forever alone.

*plooka plooka*

You're probably right. Think I need to pick the japanese game and the translation patch then. Do you need to use freeloader software to get the japanese version to work on the Wii?
