Has anyone played any in the series?

It's the scariest game I've ever played!

If you haven't it is really worth having a look at, there is load of vids on youtube. Just don't play it when your alone in the dark >.<

In the UK where I am it's called Project Zero, but in America it's Fatal Frame ^-^

The storyline for each game is quite similar, it's basically about a girl and a scary mansion called Himuro, and your only weapon is a camera called the camera 'obscura.' I completed Project Zero 2, played 1 for a bit, but 3's end boss was extremely annoying and I gave up! ~

Yes, played it, completed it and shit my pants.

It's difficult and unnessecarily spooky - I'm suprised I didn't die of a fricking heart attack after the first Canto :eek:

It completely freaked out me and my friend, and she was staying at my house for the night and neither of us slept for a week >.< Haha

The next one comes out on the wii exclusively and I think it looks sweet so I might be getting it.

I've played Crimson Butterfly for Xbox. Holy shit is it scary. Probaly the scariest game ever. I've got to remember never to play that game at night again... I'm looking for The Tormented on the Ps2 the story line seems really good.

1 was SCAR...D: and VERY mean. The ghosts are FAST and can kill you in 2 maybe 3 hits. It's my fave though :D

Crimson butterfly wasnt as scary...and EXTREMLY easy compared too 1. There was no challenge to it except maybe when running/fighting Sae and the Kusabi. The ghosts just...march most of the time and their damage is HORRIBLE! I didn't die once from anything except the 1 hit killer ghosts.

1,2,3 originally ps2. 1,2 got Xbox ports. 3 is only ps2 though =/. 4 is gonna be for wii

Yeah, I think 2 was the easiest. 3 wasn't too bad but I played it on easy first, but I couldn't do the last bit too. 1 is the scariest >.<

Project Zero 1, 2, and 3 are on Playstation 2.

I think 1 was later released for Xbox. And 2 is released on Xbox and it is the Directors Cut edition, with extra stuff, and I bought that the other day.

The new one, Project Zero 4 is set to come out on the Nintendo Wii. There are rumours they are not releasing it on the other consoles, but that is yet to be confirmed.

Obviously, since you kill ghosts with the camera, the Nintendo Wii would be a good choice because you could hold the Wii mote up like a camera, and snap A or something to take the picture.
