Hm, this is not in many of the walkthroughs I have seen for FFX, think I might have been the only one in the world determined enough to actually discover this. Most people think that the first time you play blitz on FFX against the Luca Goers in the tournament that you can not win. Well, I say those people are quiters. Anyways, I beat them. You gotta do it a certain way. Get Letty the ball, then get him to bait the three front line Goers into chasing him and run back a bit, but not too far, just enough so as when you pass the ball to Tidus they wont be all over him like a fat kid on cake. Anyway, after you retreated a bit do a super pass to Tidus and straight away send Tidus forward and to the side. Get him to swim around the edge of the sphere toward the goal. One of the defenders will be all over him as soon as he gets near the goal, and the pressure is stepped up and probably got you sweating like a fat chick in a porta loo. Now, you wanna try and get it so the ring around Tidus' arrow on the mini map has the goal square inside it, that way when you shoot, you wont loose any shot over distance. However, you may be forced to shoot early depending on whether the second defender comes in or not, you can not take on both at once, so if they do, press the button before they are in your range to shoot. So, when you are set up, shoot, or, the first defender may go straight into a tackle with you. If you stuck to the edge like I said you will have gotten closer to the goal before they will tackle you. Anyway, Tidus should be able to break through about half the time, then shoot, hope he scores. Datto can score too, in the same way, but is slightly less capable. Only use him when it is an emergency. You can win, it is easy, but not only can you win, if you beat them about three to nil, you get to see a special cut scene you would not see otherwise. You gotta score about three or two goals before Wakka comes onto the feild, if you do that you will see Tidus all happy and the crowd going wild for him, and then Wakka will come on early and exchange him. It is not a that great cut scene, but still. How many goals you have to score before the scene varys between two or three and I dont know why. It may having something to do whether you pray for victory or not at Kilika, I dont know. And if they score a goal when you have scored two, it can still work when you get your third, sometimes, I dont know, but, gaurentee, if you score three goals and them nil before Wakka comes on it will work. Second round should be easier, specially if you got the Jecht shot on the boat (is not hard), but if you are low on goals you'll be sweating like a pedophile at a High 5 concert in no time....

- I never heard bout that in any wlakthroughs before, I reckon not many people know about it.

Also, on blitz, you need to play it to get Wakkas weapon thingy. The way it works is it comes up as a tournament prize AFTER you win all the reels. However, not many people realize that no matter how many games you play, it is not offered as a prize until a certain part of the game. I think it is after you destroy Yunalesca, dont play your blitz until you are zooming around on the airship, coz it is a waste of time since you can not get the weapon thingy til then. Cept play one tournament as soon as you get to the Mihen highroad if you like, just to get attackreels, that is a good overdrive.

This is a long thread, but just in case anyone reads my message and it hasn't been mentioned already the orignal FINAL FANTASY TACTICS the greatest game of all time is coming to the SONY PSP with 2 other games on the same UMD. Can't wait to play it on my portable!

lol i cant wait for it to come out, i mean i know the graphics are going to be kick ass, just because its on PS3 :3 and the story line is supposed to be really good. Of course i dont know this really i only hear things. i dont actually read this stuff off the main site. lol
