You mean The Spirits Within? I did like that movie although they totally misrepresented the FF world by that movie. Gaia is the only link to the FF world.I did like it though!!!

I'm torn between 7 and 8! I can't choose. 9 Was great too but I had the honour to play it only once. Compared to 7 8 and 9 I think 10 sucks. But that is my opinion. But 10 is good though. I am just saying in comparison.

about The Spirits Within,, common trate with all final fantasies is a planet in crisis

ff7 - meteor
ff8 - ultimecia
ff9 - the crystal
ffx - sin/yu yevon

spirits within - zeus cannon and the ghosts

that is the true link to final fantasy

i would like to point out that Spirits Within had nothing at all to do with the final fantasy name, really. i don't consider it to be a final fantasy movie, nor does anyone i know...

I do I think it was a great movie, and although it didn't scream final fantasy, it had little clues and hints, things like what drakenjecht said

Rest in peace Emily
