Xbox 360 - What's wrong with it ?
 

Hello there . I'm new to this forum so please don't be too harsh . A quick introduction ...I'm 16 , male, Canadian and live in the outskirts of Toronto .
I noticed how bad the xbox 360 was doing in sales in Japan and I wondered why that is ? I mean I have it and it's a really good console. Like the games don't appeal to you or you do you think it's bad like the first one ? Please answer only if you live in Japan but everyone is open to discussion.

RROD, it being Microsoft, no past history of success in Japan. Then there's games that don't really appeal to the japanese crowd. Sales have been picking up a little recently due to a lot of RPGs coming to 360.

But FFIV isn't coming to the 360 in japan lol.

the first xbox i got failed (not RROD tho) it has something like a 36% failure rate compared to PS3's 0.2%

iv had both xbox360 and PS3 i ended up selling them both - i miss the PS3 more.

The only wrong thing with XBox360 is the fact that it unfortunatelly exists.

Really the reason Xbox 360 isn't selling as well in Japan is because it has to compete with Nintendo who really own the Japanese game market.

There just aren't enough games that appeal to the Japanese market on 360. It will be interesting to see if this changes with all of the RPGs on the way, but it may be too little too late.

I think Japanese want system that is made by Japanese, just like americans like system made by them

that's not true.
The nintendo systems have done REALLY well in America....
