Fear2 - 02-19-2009, 05:38 PM

FEAR2 is the most awsome shooter game i have ever played! I love using the shot gun and getting right up on them and watching the blood and guts go everywhere. I just got dumped so I take my anger out on the bad guys in the game. Plus it is the perfect game to play when your sitting at home, all alone, with all of the lights turned off and the surround sound blaring. You are guaranteed to get scared. It's my fav game so far tho, other than the Halo series. Inputs people?

I have the demo for PC and although its not the full game it's pretty awesome and it looks amazing.

We have it for the XBOX 360 and me and my brother love it! Me and him are always fighting over it. And I get scared easily, i will admit that its not as scary as the first, but it still scares me so i like it. I must not be that good at the game or something because the AI's are always rele smart when I play it. They outsmart me a lot.

I've watched clips of both FEAR games. I don't think I can play them.
I can take Dracula and Frankenstein... but when it comes to the subtle things (image flashing; events in the background) I freak out.

I agree with you. I don't play the game, but my sister plays the demo on her PS3. I came in on a certain part where there was a flashback.....don't ever want to see it again. So freakin scary.

The game is totally inferior when compared to the original FEAR (and even it's sequels). AI has the intellectual capabilities of a brick and the potential the game had, has been totally reduced due to the games specs being lowered to fit the consoles. I played through the first 2 or 3 levels and then quit... not because it was too scary, but because it was annoying (not to mention the fact that I was unable to use the thumb-buttons on my mouse without altering the driver settings... this is the 1st game I have played in many years that hasn't got support for MOUSE4 and MOUSE5 ... talking about crappy ports >_<)
... blah at least the other game i was waiting for - Dawn of War II did not disappoint me as much (in fact, I find it brilliant)

its much better if you play it on an actual console such as the 360 instead of the computer.
