Japanese PC Gaming - 03-18-2009, 12:46 PM

I not sure if this is the right area, but I wonder if anyone know about any popular online PC games that Japanese people play online together?

I remember some games such as Second-Life and MapleStory.

Since you only mentioned mmo style games I'll say that I've played games like Left 4 Dead and WarCraft 3 with Japanese players.
Don't know how popular they are there though.

A million miles till I'm done.

I play Left 4 Dead, its awesome. I've never met anyone Japanese or from Japan on there though. Well any style of PC gaming can count.

I suspect the Monster Hunter mmo is quite popular. I loved the psp games.

1 Corinthians 10: 31-33
31 Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. 33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

Imagine, maybe? that MMO by Shin Megami Tensei.

But to despair was to wish back for something already lost.
Or to prolong what was already unbearable.

That hits the most popular. Most of the rest are limited audience, and console online games other than FFXI are pretty much out.

DaikoukaiJidai Online was big for a while, as was the Monster Hunter MMO.

Basically, there are a ton of small online games competing the the PC online market, with none of them really winning a huge share. They all have their dedicated group of users, but the really big ones are RO and FFXI.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.
