Tekken 6 and Tekken series

This is a thread to discuss Tekken 6.

It doesn't come out for a couple days in the US, but I will be picking it up when it come out.

This is a series I have been following since Tekken 1 which came out about 15 years ago. This is my favorite fighting game, and although I do play others, this is the only one I really focus on. I think Tekken 3 was my favorite. It has been a LONG time since Tekken 5, so I am very hopeful.

sounds like fun. haven't played them for more than 6 years. maybe i should check this one out.

ah Tekken all those good times I had with Tekken 3 beating ppl with the OP Eddy Gordo ;p Used to play all the new Tekken games when they came out to bad I dont have any current gen consoles so I can't play em anymore

I wish they came out for the PC aswell like SF 4 did. O well maybe a good reason to think about buying a console and relive the old times.

I like Tekken 5~
I love playing it with my arcade controller I got with it.
Most fun I have when I am not happy or perky for that matter.

Some people in the US have already gotten it (a few of my friends have it already). I have to wait another month to get mine (I'm getting it for the Psp). I'm gonna be extremly tempted to watch videos on youtube and spoil myself. I've been waiting for this game since I saw the ending to Jin's Tekken 5 ending.

From what I've heard about Tekken 6, is that all the characters you thought you knew (as you knew how to play as them), you have to relearn. They have all new moves.

I heard the graphic was pretty amazing and smooth..

Tekken 6 yeah!! the last one was great...i doubt it will be in the uk until next year (we always get this stuff late)

anyways I shall most def be playing it!!
And dont u find when a new sequel of a game comes out you pull up the others? well I always do! lol

Just started playing tonight...only played for a few minutes, but it looks great.

I heard you have to relearn the game to play, but I started playing Law, and the controls are exactly the same as Tekken 5 as far as I can see.

I've been looking through some screen shots right now, and the graphics barely differ from Teken 5. So besides new characters, and few new moves is there anything else new that would be worth buying the game?
