Top FREE PC games
I've been on this free game kick -- and why not, with such a bad economy? ;) Here are some great free alternatives to the mainstream gaming market:
1. Cube 2 Sauerbraten - FPS [http://sauerbraten.org/] A free FPS with great graphics and a really fast-paced game play that takes some getting used to.  ----- 2. Trackmania Nations Forever - Racing ]TrackMania - Home] Great graphics, and is REALLY fun to play both online and off. Crazy tracks, and insane physics. One of the best racing games ever, and it's free!  ----- 3. ZEQ2-LITE BETA - Free range DBZ fighting game zeq2.com/lite This is a DBZ game with free roam and huge maps, where you can fly around and unleash various attacks from a distance or up close melee style... it's a quick download and is pretty fun if you can find an online server (check the chatroom on the website)  ----- 4. Requiem - MMORPG [www.playrequiem.com] A pretty fun, free, and good looking "horror" MMORPG  ----- 5. Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 [http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/] Classic GTA games, but free. The graphics are outdated, but still fun!  Post your favorite free PC games (preferably legal ones :rolleyes:) |

if you read the description in that vid you'll see 2 links (both are legit) about getting a few great games for free taht would normally cost you like $20 lol. BUT you must install a program called steam which is basically a PC community equivalent of PSN or XBOX live, but only free like PSN (I'd say better service too but it depends on your internet >.>) |
Battlefield heroes is a free cartoon shooter.
Regnum online is a cool free MMORPG. UFO:Alien invasion is a x-com kind of game, very fun. |

Elastomania!
Elasto Mania is a motorbike simulation game, but the suspension is made out of elastic which can cause some crazzzzzy goings on sometimes!  |
Apart from the "free" MMO's, some of which are half-decent (Project Torque was one of my favourites a couple of years ago), there are several noteworthy open source games - Nexuiz and Warsow, as well as free FPSs such as Quake Live, Alliance of Valiant Arms and Combat Arms. Just some games from the top of my head.
