Is TGS free to attend? I've checked the main website but all I could find was a link for hotel accomodations which I won't need. Also, for anyone else who's been, how early should you show up? I've done major events in the states but I won't know how to guage human traffic in Japan yet.

I also interested to join this event this year..
According to my friends who joined the event last year, they paid around 2000~3000円 if I'm not mistaken.. so it will not be free :P

How early? hmm.. that's quite hard to answer~

I have booked Tickets to go... can't wait but don't know what to expect... am hoping it won't be Q's all day. Also anyone recommend how early before doors open I should arrive ?

If the show is at Makuhari Messe again this year, expect the lines to be very long, so get there early. When I say long, I mean long, even by Japanese standards.

Wouldn't that hinder your enjoyment of TGS? Considering it's a japanese trade show, I assume a lot of the info will be in Japanese.
