Regional Restrictions for the Wii? - 04-13-2007, 01:15 AM

So I know that the DS is not limited by regions in that you can play a US game on a Japanese DS, but does anyone know about the Wii? Can you play US games on a Japanese Wii? Also does the Wii have language selections when you set it up?

There is definitely a region lock. Games from one region cannot be played on a Wii from any other region.
If I recall correctly, there is a language selection (for the menu only)... At least I think so. I seem to recall seeing it.

Yes, I do. I also have a DS, an Xbox 360, and a PS2 (not to mention older consoles). We`re holding off on buying a PS3 because Sony is seriously screwing up.

Why do you ask? :P
