Tactical RPGs - 09-03-2007, 09:38 PM
These are 'square based' RPGs recently made popular by Nippon Ichi with releases such as Disgaea and Phantom Brave.

Of course these types of games have been popular for quite a while now, I was really into Shining Force on my Megadrive/Genesis and Vandal Hearts on the Playstation 1 is one of my faves too.

Still there's so many I've not played yet, Final Fantasy Tactics, Suikoden Tactics and Fire Emblem being the most well known ones I guess.

So what's hot and what's not?

the only tactical RPG that i've played was "Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together" on the PS1... i thought it was pretty fun to play.
