Dancin' Paradise Help?

Okies, here we go... I can't read kanji for the life of me, so I can't find anything close to a help section on the DanPara's site. I can speak Japanese just fine, the only problem is, the Japanese people don't speak English all that well, so I've been trying to get my Japanese IME to work on DanPara so I can use Japanese instead, & I finally got the hiragana to be turned on & not just the direct input, but whenever I type, all that comes up is question marks. Like, I tried typing "hai" & only got "??." BUT, I can type some magical kanji. I dunno how I managed it. >_> Anyone know how to fix it so I get actual kana instead of question marks? ._. Please & thank you in advance. ^.^

magically, i have the precise same problem as you ^^ (except that i did not managed to type kanji ingame yet...) so please, somebody help us
