I went to a movie last weekend, and before we sat down we went into the game arcade.

I know the DDR machines can host two people, but didn't know that you can do some "expert" action that covers both machines. I was pretty wowed to see this guy (all alone) click into the super expert level, and he was using BOTH pads at the same time, jumping between them. I didn't know that level existed.

Needless to say, he owned it. How? I don't, know. I mean, where do they practice?

I play in Expert mode (difficulty 7-8) on DDR machines, tried Pump It Up just once but it was a total failure.

Usually at the local arcades, but I know some hardcore gamers who bought metal pads to practice at home. They cost $200 and are exact replicas of the ones that can be found on arcade machines.

I've never played Pump it up, but I have played DDR. I have nothing to brag about though, I just play for fun since I suck at it. I own it for Xbox but I usually fail when I play it. For some odd reason though I do better when i go to an arcade place that has it.

I hate pump it up I have never seen anyone who was ever really good at it I can do some normal on pump. Im alright at ddr I can beat max 300 on heavy but pump is a totally different ball game! I wonder why ddr players suck at pump it up cause its almost just like ddr. The middle arrow is always the one that messes me up.
