American student looking to learn basic Japanese

I'm an American high-school student who is currently making plans to go to Japan after high-school.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in teaching me basic phrases and customs the would help me out on my trip.

I would also answer any questions anyone has about American customs and language.

im not native japanese but i do speak all the basics so could help you with the basics and hiragana if you wanted.

p.s. its ok if you would rather have an acctual japanese person teach you just let me know ^_^
