I don't know exactly what you mean by "level". I guess I would consider myself a beginner, but I have the basics of the language down. I guess I should have made my post more clear, but I'm really just searching for a group of people who would like to get together and help each other with the language. You don't have to know Japanese, or English. But i just had an idea that maybe if everyone who put their knowledge of the language together and shared it, then we would all learn something.

I think they mean if you have taken JLPT 4 (which is easy). LV 1 is the hardest (probably means you are ready to stay in Japan or something).

No, I didn't mean JLPT levels ^_^;; I meant "to what degree do you know the language" and she answered that appropriately. It's just that there are so many people who say "OMG, I wanna learn Japanese!! Let's talk!!" and they haven't even gone to a class or picked up a book or done anything to try to get started... Like I said before, it's hard to seriously believe those people want to learn the language...
