Is anyone willing to help an able student?
 

Japanese is a wonderful language isn't it?
One I've wanted to learn for as long a I remember, but so far it has been slow going.
If anyone would be able and willing to aid me, I would be very thankful.
I'm a fast learner, a native English speaker, and I know some of the basics.


Any help would be very much appreciated.

I've received a few pm's asking what kind of help I wanted.
I'm sorry if I was not clear.
I wish to expand my repertoire of learning tools.
whilst some old work books and a computer program or two may give me a basic knowledge of grammar and syntax, I believe I could learn so much more, so much faster if I had some contact with someone who spoke/knew the language themselves.
A native speaker would not be ideal exactly, as the language barrier would be hard to bypass.
