Yo visitaré España este marzo, y en una escuela, tendré que hacer una presentación de Japón.Pero puesto que no hay muchas informaciónes de España en Japón, no sé en qué cosas japoneces interesan a españoles.
¿ Qué se gustaría saber ?

I'm going to visit Spain this March and there I'll do some presentation of Japanese things in a secondary school.But since there's no information here in japan,I don't know in what people in spain are interested things of Japanese. However, could you give me some ideas what I should introduce about Japan and in what people in spain wants to know about japan?

I'm sorry, I don't know about Spain, but perhaps I could tell you what we in America are interested in? I imagine teenagers in the west in general have similar interests.

Talk about the mix of ancient and modern culture in Japan. My friends are fascinated when I explain to them that people still wear kimino in Japan, because they know it as the technology capital of the world.
That's another thing. It's common knowledge that Japan is a few years ahead of the rest of us, so talk about the latest technology over there. I saw a special about Japanese technology a few days ago, and saw people video conferencing on their cell phones. Like it was just perfectly normal, out and about in Tokyo. Teenagers love technology.
Music. Tell them about some of the most popular artists in Japan right now, and play a few samples. I've heard that foreign music is really popular in Spain.

Hola YingZi, le puedo ayudar con este tema. De hecho, una de las cosas que siempre dicen es que como el español se parece en cierta forma al japonés entonces es "fácil" empezar a aprender.

Yo soy de Costa Rica (Centroamérica) pero hablo español, inglés, y japonés puedo comunicarme, y en chino también! :P Cualquier cosa pregúnteme en cualquiera de esos idiomas!

Mi primera idea es que hable de cómo los idiomas se parecen, y cómo llegaron portugueses a Japón (pan, zubon, etc.), y a Taiwán (Formosa = significa hermosa), y asímismo llegaron españoles a Las Filipinas. Siempre es interesante conocer un poco la historia primero!

¡Hola! Yo soy española, y quizás te sirva de ayuda. Es muy interesante si en esa escuela les hablas sobre la historia de Japón como dicen los posts anteriores, pero si vas a estar con chicos jóvenes, quizá lo que mas les interese sea lo referente a la tecnología: videojuegos, aparatos electrónicos, etc.
La juventud española está cada vez más interesada en el anime, por ejemplo, Naruto o Shin-chan son muy conocidos, aunque realmente no es algo demasiado popular en el momento.
Personalmente, yo también estoy interesada en la música o los doramas japoneses, así como en su cultura, pero no creo que sea algo que interese a una parte importante de la juventud española, de hecho, no se conoce casi nada de estas cosas aquí.
¿Dónde está la escuela a la que vas a ir?

@xGarnetx: pues sí, es cierto. Acá en Costa Rica lo único que conocen de la cultura japonesa es el animé, manga, videojuegos, robots, y (ahora) la comida. Sin embargo, he notado que a muchos japoneses que viven acá, y a los ticos (costarricenses) que sabemos hablar japonés, nos molesta en parte que lo ÚNICO que se conoce de la cultura son esos aspectos, habiendo muchas otras cosas. Así que sería su opción y depende de la meta que tenga en la presentación. Suerte!

well it's not that complicated... as you are from Japan, if i have the oportunity to see you i'll probably love to hear about your life style (some people, like me, wish they were born in japan)... indeed tell them about your lenguage.. show them how to write some few words in kanji.. =)
also about the food!! .. i mean, sushi is known , but i know there are more kinds of food and i hope they are delicious!!! =P

i forgot about your culture.. i think is one of the most interesting of the world... and i love the japanese series, like hana yori dango or one litre of tears (it made me cry =( ) and sometime people is interested on anime.. like naruto, it's quite fun your country... whatever you decide to present be sure they will like it, i mean, you are from japan, wounderful!! and i think people is really nice =) be proud of it and have in mind that you represent in one kind japan, that's great!

Estoy de acuerdo en que un poco de historia estaría bien, pero poco, normalmente a la gente le suele aburrir la historia
Seguramente hablar de la tecnología, de las cosas típicas de allí (fiestas, etc..), y también de cómo se España en Japón (siempre que eso sea bueno, claro.. jeje).
Si el publico es joven, supongo que el tema del manga y el anime puede ser muy interesante....
Y además la comida, que es un tema que a mi personalmente me interesa mucho, porque en España cuando se piensa en japón o no se sabe nada o se piensa sólo en sushi.
