Looking for an IT Job in Japan

今日は、

My name is Shaun from New Zealand.
I am a recent software developer graduate looking at moving to
Japan next year in the hopes of finding an IT job. I have studied Japanese for 4 years at high school and off and on during my university years and can communicate and read Japanese at an intermediate level.

I love the Japanese culture and visited there as an exchange student / tourist back in 1998 as part of an exchange program between my high school and a high school near Hiroshima.

I am probably going to come to Japan on the working holiday visa unless I get a sponsor internationally. I am prepared to teach English in the short time if needed but would rather not.

I am proficient in Oracle and have studied MS SQL, MYSQL.
Programming languages I have studied in order of most experienced to least experienced are: PHP, C++, VB.NET, XML, and Java.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone,

Shaun

I would put my resume in the hands of a recruitment firm, they could probably get you work in your field rather quickly.

Hays Specialist Recruitment Japan KK
Slate Consulting, K.K. - Executive Search Firm - Tokyo, Japan
The Ingenium Group, Inc. - Executive Search & Recruiting in Japan & Asia
Vision Consulting Services - Home
