cost of an apartment neer Tokyo (to own)

Hey im michael, and i was just wondering how much the cost is to buy an apartment any where neer Tokyo or even in Tokyo because i have around 50,000 AUD (so around 5mill yen i think ) for a deposit and i was thinking about trying to get a job as a photographer for a magazine ( my dreams ^^)

i know its hard to get a loan if your a foreigner and i understand that but this is just a dream of mine to own an apartment in Tokyo and i was just wondering if some one could tell me the cost to own 1

i'm from the U.S and i am looking into living in japan or the surrounding areas. do you got aol/aim? i'd like to know if you knew anythign about the areas?
