These forums are full of those very questions answered a multitude of times. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask, but I could write a book to try and guess what you need to know and not be right.

the problem is that the poster has formulated his question wrong.
let me give u an example. let's say that "a small town in GA" means
that u live in Georgia, US. now, pls tell me everything about georgia!

however, since i am feeling nice today (no need to tell me i am an
arrogant bastard, i already know that) i will give haven some basic info.

how to get a visa, or call the japanese embassy or closest consulate

how expensive is japan?
if u manage to live in a company subsidised dorm and eating cheap, 40,000 JPY/month
if u live in roppongi hills or the newer midtown, ...the sky is the limit
