How to buy stuff in yahoo japan? - 03-28-2009, 04:15 PM

Hi all,

My name is Matthew.

I'm going to Japan next week coming. I will stay there for a month..

if everything going great i will decide to live there in long term.

oh.. by the way i'm from London. I've got a job as the teacher (eng. conversation course)

I do have Bank acct. in Japan but i don't know how to place the order.....

Actually i'm an Engineer. My ex. she's a Japanese so she teach me some.
It's not that serious though.. just 2 or 3 hours a week.. but i think it might help my rent.


So could anyone tell me how can i buy stuff in Yahoo Japan?
I've got Bank acct. at UFJ and Sumitomo.
Whenever i go on the internet in Japan's site.
Jesus........ every single words is Japanese... Kanji...

If you have the Google toolbar, you should be able to translate the pages at Yahoo Auctions. The translations aren't great, but good enough for you to get the basic details.

To get a user name and set up a payment account you'll need to know a fair amount of Japanese. The sign-up pages are secure, and you cannot use the translation feature on them. If you can't find your way through them, you'll need to find a Japanese speaker that you trust to help you with it.
