Sending packages back home... - 05-21-2009, 04:02 AM

Hey dear community,

Im from Germany, but right now I'm living in Osaka.
There is a lot of stuff to send back home and so I'm searching for a cheap and save possibility to do that.

Are there better package-deliveringservices then JPost?

Thanks 4 helping in forward...

bye

We used standard SAL by ship which we found very safe and was the chepest method offered by JPost. Collect a batch of dleivery custom slips form your local PO. Pack all your boxes, address and labelled, and JPost will actually come to your place to weigh them, and pick them all up for you. They bring a scale with them and you pay on the spot.

Their are courier companies such as Nippon express, Yamato Cat, although their prices are generally much higher, although they tend to offer standard delivery.

the shipping took us a month to receive from JP to Australia. We had a self storage facility in Cairns and all boxes were sent to that facility and stored by them.

Hope this helps.

Cheers - Oz
