Do you know ANY Japanese?
Are you willing to learn a whole different culture and way of life?

If it's because you love anime, then I would recommend a holiday in Tokyo. But I would never recommend moving for that reason.

Ahh, the internet. Where men are men, women are men, and 14 year old girls are FBI agents.

Agreed.
I recomend you to first visit it and then if you like it, you try to move.
Also, you should learn japanese.
And believe us, Japan isnt the same that you see in anime and such stuff

Are you going by yourself?

Are you planning on working in Japan?

And this one is kind of tied to the second. Do you have a college degree?

Above all things, you need to have a job to support a visa if you want to stay longer than 3 months. If you haven't been there before, I recommend visiting, to see if you would actually like "living" there.
