You`re welcome to do that. Just don`t be an armchair activist screaming about the injustice of being singled out as a foreigner when that isn`t the case.
Does the RFID have the potential to be abused and to be used to single out foreigners? Yes. But potential does not indicate intent. It is in all the ID cards, regardless of whether you`re Japanese or a foreigner. Unless it's actually going into your body, I don't really see a problem with the actual chip. The privacy breach is the only thing that bugs me.
