The Ryouhouji Temple in Hachioji, Tokyo is now trying to "reach" the younger generation, which many other temples don't even think of doing. The Ryouhouji sells a card named the "Mobile Sutra" for 500 yen on its premises. It has a code on the back and you access it on your cell phone to hear the sutras from the temple. The temple adopted a system where only the cellphone through which the first access was made will be able to receive the service from the second time on.
