want to be a master of sushi cook - 10-09-2010, 06:32 PM

Hi! I like to be a sushi cook in a school in Japan, Can anybody here tell me how I can apply to that school (any links in english) I am living in Norway and I want to move to Japan for a year or 6 months. How can I apply to the immigration office there. Thank you in advance. Stien

i'm not sure about established schools for sushi...
but... imho, the best way to learn is through hands on experience at a sushi-ya...

as i know it need 6 years and you need to be japanese or get japanese nationality.....

Actually check out Tokyo Sushi Academy | Sushi school in Tokyo, Japan

NOT cheap though at ¥860,000 for two months and I strongly doubt you would get work there.

Might want to check this guy's Blog too !

A sushi academy? Nice. Although I think that is the Japanese equivalent of like, I don't know.... *forgot*


I'm pretty content with life right now....For the most part, anyway....Well, at least, I'm pretty sure I am....
