MAIDs onTrains

Seibu Railways to introduce 'maid trains'

What do you think of this idea?

princessmarisa 11-11-2010 05:36 PM

Why chichibu?

I think this would have worked much better if they had put on a special train between say akihabara and ikebukuro, although do seibu trains run anywhere near this?

I find the people trying to sell you overpriced snacks on the shinkansen intrusive enough, so maids would be overkill :mtongue:

I think this is a brilliantly excellent idea. :D

Lol, I can foresee a lot of issues cropping up already, with image portrayal, stereotyping, respect, etc. But, I'm personally in full support of the idea :D

It`s incredibly expensive for a train ride, in my opinion, even if it is a special event sort of thing. But then again, I`m not the target audience.

I think that instead of considering it a maid train, we need to think of it as a special in-train event. The times will be set, and the tickets completely separate from normal tickets. All in all, it`s a great idea for extra revenue. I have no doubt they`ll set it during hours when traffic is light, to use some of the empty cars. An otherwise empty train, doing a set course on a track that otherwise wouldn`t have that traffic.

If they can make money, great.
