Nursing and Japan - 02-02-2011, 03:31 AM

Hello, all!
I am very interested in staying in Japan as well as becoming a nurse.
I'm black American so I already know it may be difficult.
I'm in college currently on the pre-med track, but lately I've been thinking how much happier I would be going after my dreams (Japan) while helping people (nursing).
During the Spring I hope to switch my major to Asian Studies Japanese while taking some pre-requisites for Nursing. I'll continue to do this during Spring and Summer.
I hope to go through my exchange programs here and stay in Japan during Sophomore/Junior/Senior year. My questions are will I still be able to continue studying a nurse here? I'm sure it depends on the schooling. But if I do continue to study to be a Nurse while studying Japanese in Japan will I be able to find a nursing job here in Japan? As well if I continued schooling? Thank you!
