As far as I know, I'm going to go out on a limb and say no. I'm not even sure if there's such a thing as community colleges for Japanese students, let alone foreigners. The thing is, it's not like all of us students have some desire to become Temple alumni. We're at Temple because it's our only option. There are a couple of schools in Tokyo that offer temporary study, but that's about it. And even if there are community colleges, they wouldn't sponsor your visa to live in Japan. That's what makes Temple unique.

I guess the bottom line is, you're just going to have to do some work back home if you want to turn your dream into a reality. Truthfully, most students at TUJ are transfer students, so we've all had to do the same thing. I'm sure you're eager, but this is just one of those obstacles you have to face, and it will determine whether this is your dream or not.

does anybody know of language schools that you can acquire college credit, or offer courses that give you credits?
