Only in Rainy season
Do you like rain?
I do so of course I love Japan. Easily the wettest country I've ever been to. Been here for 4 years now & every year I've been here it has rained on average every other day from March to October. Yes that is about 6 and a half months. It is raining as I type surprise surprise. I have no complaints as I love rain. It's so emotionally charged. In Japan though the official rainy season is June/July (just 2 months you'll notice, not the actual 6 months of pissing it down) It's always great when you tell a Japanese person that you think it rains a lot in Japan. 99% of the time you have this half shouted response "ONLY IN RAINY SEASON" I always wonder if they can sense the rain that is pouring around them for most of the year. I mean they are always carrying umbrellas. Haha, then they have the nerve to say that England is a rainy country :p |

You've seen nothing until you go to India during Monsoon season.
I live in Texas, so I get a mix or Rain, Hail, and Tornados during this time of year. That reminds me, I need to move my car to covered parking ;) |
I love listening to J-pop when it's raining.. No idea why... I just feel the pitterpatter sound of the raindrops really enhances the music.. and that dim atmosphere.. ^^

I absolutely love the rain.....something about the noise is just soothing...and it drowns out the other noises, so you kinda feel alone......It feels really good.....
