hi guys,
i have a question.
can your tell me how the live as Christian in Japan?
they live Japanees people they are christian etc.
can sombody tell me about that? :confused:

There are churches in most all of the larger cities in Japan. Schools as well.. I went to a Jesuit university when I studied abroad in Japan.

PRESENT:

Today, about one to two million Japanese are Christians (about 1% of Japan's population). Most of them live in Western Japan where the missionaries' activities were greatest during the 16th century.

A few Christian customs have become quite popular also among the non-Christian population. Such customs are the wearing of white dresses at weddings or the celebration of St.Valentine's Day and, to a certain grade, also Christmas.

yes of course. this is no longer the middle age you know.:D

there are even christian schools, protestants, catholics, mormons, international churches can be found in almost all main cities. Lots of Jehovahs Witness knocking at your door too. :D:)

There are around 9,000 Orthodox as well, mostly the Russian immigrants I think... :D

hey, that will be cool... i was not so realy sure because Japan is more with the Temple, shrine stuff.
