Take good advice. If you get to Japan look for the following places.

Yokosuka: Across from the main gate of Naval Station Yokosuka is a small resturaunt in the Hanchu called "Snack Tomo". Still there today and they make the best corn dogs and rice bowl eats you'll ever find.

Atsugi: Across the street from Atsugi Naval Air Station is "Cupids" resturaunt. They make the most delicious Katsu-don. And down the street at the "T" intersection where Sagami-ono station is, is "Kurandos" Sushi house and "Tsubashi Soba" hut.

Yamato: If you get to the small city of Yamato and get off the station, take the right side exit to "Snack Kubai's" on the weekends they get the college crowd and make the best BBQ ribs in Japan!

I used to go to that place about 1985. I wonder if it is still there. I looked for it on google street view but couldn't find it.
