My question is this lets say i have my BA in Law and i was in the nypd for 2-3 years do you think the japanese police dep would take me? or any other law enforcement like detective unit or yeah

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say no. Seems that working in law enforcement in Japan, just like a nurse, one would have to have a high fluency level in Japanese to communicate since you'll be dealing with the Japanese public so much and so often. I could be wrong, but I truly feel that this would be the case. The only way I could personally see one obtaining something like that, is if the person works with the International Police or maybe the Japanese and NYPD has to work together on a case or something like that and the US has to send an officer there to investigate something.

I`m sure they`d be happy to have you, once you obtained Japanese citizenship and went through their full training courses. In Japanese, of course.

Hmm... I wanted to be an English teach in Japan, but for good reasons, of course... Not for money at all. Tehe.... Um, my second choice would be a therapist. Would that be an Okay job to pursue in Japan ?

yeah that would make sense thank you very much, but crime is pretty low in japan i think i would be bored XDD compared to new york city crime rate lol but yeah thanks alot

and ssjup yeah i was thinking of joining interpol but they are tough to get into they only have like 600 officers XD but thanks alot i will consider it

To be a psychotherapist, you'd need to have a perfect grasp of both the language and culture, in order to pick up on subtle signs, inflections, etc. I think someone who wasn't raised in Japanese society, with a native grasp of the Japanese language, will not have an easy time as a psychotherapist. Plus, you'd need to get a license to practice in Japan, which may not be easy...
