Quick question for soon to be Japanese resident! - 02-25-2018, 03:07 AM

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. I will be moving to Japan in June to work on the Navy base in Yokosuka. Will be there for 2 years. I am beginning to look at possible places to live and I was interested in three train station areas.... Kanazawabunko, Kamio-Oka, and Hinodecho. Does anyone have any insight on these areas? I am a single guy by the way. Thank you so much for any info!!

I strongly recommend KAMI-O-OKA which is nice town with both KQ line and subway.

KANAZAWA-BUNKO is also nice town but is smaller town compared with KAMI-O-OKA.

If you like gumling and heavy drinking, HINODE-CHO is not so bad. I think HINODE-CHO is most dirty town in YOKOHAMA.
