Japan - Snow fields - 09-24-2007, 01:31 PM

Hi guys,

Does anyone know its hard for a foreigner (i'm australian) to get a get a job working near the snowfields? I am looking to spend a season there, hopefully Niseko or Furano. I'm not to picky about what i do, but i'd like a job that still allows me to enjoy some time there (part time / casualwork)

Can anyone offer any advice?

Cheers

Since you are from Australia, you will be able to get the working holiday visa if you are accepted for the job. Americans do not have the option of a working holiday visa, therefore getting into this program is a bit more difficult. But yeah, check this site out Jobs in Japan | boobooSKI.

I'm pretty sure that you could find something in Niseko because that whole town largely depends on Australian skiers for its winter income.
