Aside from English Teacher, which I have my sights on, what kind of jobs in technology are the best chances of getting into Japan?

Keep in mind that developers will need to be bilingual. this isn't true of English teachers.

Getting hired and sent to Japan through a non-Japanese company is probably the "easiest" way to get a non-English teacher job for a non-Japanese teacher, but how to do that isn't something that can be explained in three sentences.

If he is looking for tech jobs, these 3 companies will put him in within 2 weeks. As long as he can at least start with service desk work.

PANACHE Corporation

Skillhouse

Hays Specialist Recruitment Japan KK

They even do visas

Well, I've pretty much given up on being an English Teacher, being that I just don't have the patience to be one, plus I'm not really comfortable getting up in front of a lot of people, even if they are kids. That's why I decided to ask about computers.

Thanks very much for all the information, it's been really helpful.

EDITED: Sorry about that. I was just depressed, but something inside me just won't let me give up on the idea of going, or even moving to Japan for that matter!

This sites also has a lot of job postings for non-Japanese to get a job in Japan.
There are a lot of non-English teacher jobs as well.
