Swiss student - Japanese Uni

Hi there!!
I'm a student from Switzerland, majoring in Economics...
Since I really like Japan i would like to find a good university because switzerland is a very lonely place... above all for a weird person like me lol! ^^
I really like rockmusic and I play guitar... It would be great to find some friends :vsign:

Is there a Japanese IRC chat for university students?

Firstly,can you speak japanese?

No... but i'm trying to learn it!
It's very difficult... but since i already speak Italian, English, French and German i hope it won't be so hard to learn another language! :D

Hmm, maybe not to study there, but you could get a 'working holiday' which is basically you go there to work and that way, it would be easier to pick up the language. ^^.

Going to study there is a MUCH harder route, because all your lessons would be in japanese, and since you're only learning, it would be more stress on you, and really, you wouldn't get any time to go out and SEE japan, but at home surdying up what you learnt in class.. thats my advice

yes, but would you really be picking up the japanese language then, if your lessons are all in english?

Im just saying that a working holiday would be more beneficial because it would give you much more of your time actually LEARNING and SEEING japan.
