Dutch guy looking for Japanese friends

I susbscribed today to the Japan Forum in order to meet people from Asia who have a background in Japanese/Chinese culture. I was hoping to exchange some ideas about culture, interests and so on. The underlying reason for this message is that I want to travel to Asia this summer and i'm looking for connections.

I hope that someone will be interested in having me as an online friend!

Hi, I live in Amsterdam. I'll go for 1 year in Japan and I just found the Nihongo Salon every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 10:30 to 12:00 at Igo center in Amstelveen.

The next salon is on 14th March (it is not 3rd Friday this month because of Easter holidays).
In April they will held on 4 and 18 April.

Thanks for the information, however i'm currently studying in Turin, Italy. So coming on the 1st or 3th of Friday to Amstelveen is not an option. Is it possible if I contact you through a private message?
