Hi! *hykjit* Wow, Hajimemashite!
How are you doing? Today I've joined this forum, and
I really want to meet people from Japan here, well I guess
you're the first then

I think Japan is a really amazing country. I'm going to Tokyo this
July, so i'm quite excited about it too!
Can I ask you a question then? Do you know if people are capable of
speaking English in Tokyo? Because I only read that they're speaking English
on airports and hotels.

But I can also ask people if know about the English language.

*Eigo o hanashi mass ka?*

And a hello to you aswel!
hykjit isn't the only japanese one over here;p.
But..
I was born in the netherlands(like you)But currently live in Japan.
Well some people don't really speak english outside hotels/airports, but you can always try to ask them and find out if they also speak english.
=3

Teehee!
and yup i live now in Japan with 4 other guys(who are my room mates and my band mates XD)
Same counted for me.
I also wished first to go to Japan.
Well It happend not long ago that i went to Japan.
Had a tour through Asia, America and Europe, wich also counted i was going to Japan.
When we got there it was like huge.. I still had a bit of crappy japanese wich now totaly is different (i speak a bit better now XD).
After we left Japan my bandmates had something behind my back (you know what i mean right?).
They bought a house over here in Japan only for something in exchange.
That they also stayed with me here.
So i wouldn't mind.
Now you know a bit off my story back to topic!
Well.. if im right not alot can speak english but i think increasing ur japanese is also a good idea than only try to talk english to them =3.
(long post gomene!)

5 more years?! That's a long time really, but yes you still have plenty of time to actually learn more about the japanese culture and language too.
O wow, a world trip! Now that something you can't miss right.

I've been in the USA just once. I visited my family in Salt Lake City, but it was a really long trip to there. Heh

Yea, we decided if we're still friends when we graduate, that we're gonna take a world trip that summer.

And I can't wait until I turn 18 cus it will be fun to meet so many new people and watch anime series nondubbed.
