I'm looking for some friends who speak japanese
I'm looking for some to practice japanese with.
I want to become familiar with the language.
------------------------------------------------------

lol sorry if my japanese makes no sense, I really am quite the beginner.Hope to find someone who's fluent enough for me to talk to so I can learn new words and remember some of the ones I already know...
I'm just trying to find someone to talk to so i can actually apply my japanese in real life and learn by experiance.

Hiragana to katakana wa yomemasuka?
Kanji wa Nihonjin nimo muzukashii desuyo.
Ima ikutsu kanji o shitte imasuka?

Can you read hiragana and katakana?
Kanji are hard for the Japanese, too.
How many kanji do you know now?

Should I type in kana?

Hai, katakana to hiragana ga yomemasu.
ima mazu kyu-juu kanji o wakarimasu.

yeah, I can read hiragana and katakana.
I know almost 90 kanji now.

I actually haven't made the full leap to reading kana fast yet, I can read them it just takes me some time to remember the meanings for the kana when I'm reading them.

すばらしいですね~。かんじもすでに90こわかるんで すね。たぶんにほんのしょうがく1~2ねんせいのきょ うかしょがよめますね。

すでに = already こ= counter for small objects たぶん = perhaps しょうがく1~2ねんせい = 1st or 2nd graders きょうかしょ = textbooks

Hope you understand the sentences in kana above. For us, it's very difficult to read Japanese written solely in kana.

Hah, took me a while to read through all that and figure out the words without spacing. I suppose getting some early grade textbooks would help, I've seen some material like that at a bookstore I go to.

It's hard to read because I only used kana. In normal writing, the three systems make great contrast against one another so it won't kill your eyes.

これからも頑張って勉強して下さい。

頑張る = がんばる、 勉強=べんきょう、 下さい =ください
