Are the japanese even open to missionaries?

well....
 

its a free country, like us! they've been accepting missionaries since the the meiji era!!! even before then, missionaries still went!!! out of a love for the people: a desire to see them come to God! when they cut off our heads they did not realize that the common people saw this and learned what true love is!
it is not a question of whether or not they are open to us: it is a question of are christians' ears open enough to hear the cry of internal despair from such an advanced and seemingly perfect nation?!!
but this thread is not open to theological debate, so no more comments like those please!:)
