sorry, maybe new kids won't use the forum, cos it will be too difficult for them to write and read...

2 girls might want to join tomorrow....
they are 8 and 10.

Can you leave messages for them?

Their names are Aina (will be 9 years old next month) and Yuna (is 10).

It was back in 1992~3, when the boys said to me "dude" and I didn't hear any girls said "dude", but do they do ?
Don't you guys use "mate" anymore?

It is a bit tomboyish but girls do use it. I rarely hear the word 'mate' though the boys do use it among themselves sometimes. It is more common for adult men though.

How about "Hungry Jacks"?

an old friend of mine from Melbourne, he used to call it HJ.
and some other called McDonald's Mackie Dee or something.
I haven't heard of that one. :)

How do you say AZN? like...eizeden?
(first, I didn't read it properly and thought you were talking about the bank!)
haha. This is actually taken from Internet chatting language. Just like lol (laugh out loud), rofl (rolling on the floor laughing). (These are pronounced as a word). AZN is pronounced by reading the letters separately >> A - Z - N. Teens use it because it roughly sounds like the word Asian. There is also OMG (pronounced as separate letters) which stands for Oh my God!
Japanese people have internet language too right? Can you give me some examples? =D

At English school, when I told my teacher "May I go to toilet."
She didn't let me, cos I forgot to say "the" !

I heard that, whoppsie daisy! <<whoopsie daisy! you spelt it wrong ^^
daisy is a flower right?
Yeah. Daisy is a flower. 'Daisy' is probably used for a sound effect not because it has any literal meaning.

Sure! I look forward to meeting Sakura...;)

I see... then I will use "dude". I have been always tomboyish whole my life. Do girls use other words among girl friends?

I remember that I was called like... "dear"(by an old lady) or "boddy"(from an Aussie university student)..."cutie"(by an drunk man)... and more, but I can't remember.... I liked to see how the adults call the little kids... possum...or some other animals' names they were using.

Yes, but they are coming back next month on the 11th.
We are going to have 2weeks holidays.

Can you just leave messages to
Kanon,Sakura (girls
Yuzuki, Reiki (boys
they are coming on Thur or Fri.

We will come and check here JF and the CF (children Forum):)

Please make the message as simple as possible, to use very basic grammar and words... Some of them just started learning phonics.

but for Yuzuki, you can write whatever, he loves silly jokes...

see you tomorrow!

I don't recall the girls at my school using much slang words. (Personally, I don't use any female slang.) They might playfully tease each other sometimes, for example: Hey sexy! or Go girl! (cheering a female on in a game, usually when the opponent is a guy). Haha, some adults often use 'possum' when referring to their kids. It is very affectionate and possibly embarassing to the growing child.

Yeah. It means the same thing as 'true'.
