Wink Looking for Japanese and Western Friends - 12-21-2008, 10:33 AM

Hiya! ~waves~ Name's Malee (Mara Lee... Mara, Duece, people keep naming me...) An Aussie girl . :P Just hoping to find some fun people to talk to Don't really care where from/what nationality so much.

I'm pretty outgoing, independent, an individual (just like everyone else lol). I'm smarter than the average coffee cup and very curious but don't like gossip.

I'm the person who will go out in a shopping centre with my friends in a Batman mask and tell everyone "I'm Amazing, I'm Batman". Sober. Really really!
I don't give a flying banana about social norms or 'keeping up with the Joneses'.

I live in the Down-Under version of the Land of Oz (otherwise known as Australia.)

I'm interested in almost anything, practically unable to be embarassed and only get annoyed when people can't carry a conversation. I have a weird (dry, sometimes morbid) sense of humour.

Give me a buzz sometime if you want

n_n

cheers,

~malee~

I like your quotes. You seem like a fun, unique non-Japan-obsessed person. I wonder why you registered here...

Hey, and it's "I'm the (optional: g*ddamn) Batman"

Awesome. Good luck. My bro is in the US Army, but he's more combat specialist :P in Iraq atm, back to US in March only to be in Germany in July. ~waves~ . 'Brother form another mother' Oh yes, I dared. Nah, we're good friends :P and go by brother and sister . So did you have an interest in learning Japanese before your gf? n_n Had Jap. exchange student in high school. I travel. Studying Criminology and Criminal Justice, learnt hand to hand combat since I was little. ^-^ Raised and babysat primarily by police, special agents, spies (truly), etc. I blame them for my weird nature.

I didn't have much interest in the language, just the culture. Speaking to her mom when we visit keeps me motivated.

Well that's cool about your bro. Nothing against Germany, but I'd rather go to Afghan, Deutschland is a 2 year minimum :O I'm actually a CJ major too xD I like spies!

^-^ mad. -nods- Spies are a funky monkey bunch. I got to play 'war' a lot as a kid (trains you in stealth, tactis and strategy I found later on). Yeah, I don't think he actually had/has much of a choice though. he likes Iraq, is currently helping train Iraqi police (the guys he'd had to shoot at a few times...). How do you like CJ?
