Before we jump all over the poster, let`s give a little more time to explain.

Right now, the explanations are not very convincing, however.

Saying that you are Japanese when you are not is not an uncommon thing at all. In the looking for friends area, I am willing to bet that quite a few of the users who say they are Japanese are not so. Users respond to "Japanese" like it`s the most favorable trait out there, without ever doubting. For those who do speak Japanese here, however, it`s usually quite obvious by looking at the Japanese usage...

If the original poster truly is Japanese but living in France, then there is no problem. However, I am very wary to believe someone who says they are Japanese living in France since 3 - but yet cannot speak Japanese and who says their first language is English.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

Sounds reasonable. Although I'm kind of wondering why people would say their certain nationality when their not. Just to be interesting?

Hello, Konnichiwa and Bonjour

Would you please be so kind to step inside this debate on your thread and explain to all where you are from. I know you previously stated, but obviously nobody here is believing you.

Personally, I didn't even bother to look until I had a read of the moderators post.

Are you Japanese?

I guess that means both your parents are Japanese, right?

Were you born in France with Japanese parents, in other words, first generation French?

For me, I will quite happily be your forum friend no bloody matter where you are from, I just dislike to see users talking about another user constantly on a thread. It just doesn't seem polite, or maybe it's my older genration stance.

Why is it such a deal if they're lying or not?
It's just the internet and they just want to be friends
Lying is inevitable.
