I was always confused with the L and R's.

Aligato sounds like it, but I believe it is Arigato. Is that correct?

I remeber asking the Saty supermarket check out chick where the bacon was. With an Aussie accent, it tends to sound like Baicon, so she led me to the vege section and introduced me to a monster size daicon! We had a good laugh:mtongue:

just give them r sounds X_X
